This place is AMAZING! My kids and I stopped here for lunch on a road trip. The Cubano was delicious. They smoke their own meat. Clean, quick and good. Worth a try.

Was average. The Mac and cheese tasted like an old fridge. But, the owner took that off our bill. I guess we should have tried the special. The hush puppy bites were good.

I was not impressed. The tomato soup was bland and was cold... reheated leftovers, i guess?? Meatloaf sandwich was bland as well had it not been the sauce that saved it, but barely. Disappointed by how little options there was. Menu said SOUPS, but there was only the tomato soup. Was not worth the money. Wont be coming here again.

The name never really called my attention so i had never gone in to eat at Cheezees, big mistake. A friend went and told me that the food was really really good. Well that all changed tonight and that is a god thing. The sandwich place just raised the level of sandwiches in the country. These guys know what they are doing and you can expect to eat a great sandwich. I got to taste three different sandwiches and each was better than the one before. The tomato soup was exquisite and the corn bread came directly from heaven. He also gave us some other items to taste. Everything we had was excellent. If you live in Florida you need to stop by and if you are here visiting this great town you have to put this place on things to do... You will not regret it.

Had the Reuben and the Cubana, this is by far the best sandwich shop around. They're friendly and fast. They're sooooooo good. The side cheese cornbread tastes like cake and is like heaven. Don't let the name throw you off, it's a MUST. I will be a regular from here on out!!

Very pleased with the service and the food, absolutely delicious. One of the best stops I've made here in St. Augustine. If you're looking for home cooking take out with a personal touch by the cook, or delivery, definitely give this place a visit or call. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the size and payment option. This place would be perfect if there was room for the whole family to sit and enjoy the food. Although it was a convenience to be able to pay with by credit, I find card readers tacky for stationary established businesses. Works great for traveling sales or services. Just my personal feelings on the matter. Again great food and great service.

I can't recommend this place enough. The prices and speed of service are just as fast as a drive thru but the food is healthy and incredible. I am shocked that a place this small could have EVERY item on their menu come out unique, homespun and absolutely delicious. These folks understand what tastes good and packages it so that when you get to your destination, it is still gorgeous and yummy.

Had a bacon cheese sandwich which was good. The home chicken noodle soup was really good. I think a better location with more indoor seating would help a lot. Will definitely be back.

You have to try Cheezees! It's a new place off of US1 South, open only 8 weeks. Small in location but BIG on quality and taste. Locally owned and operated (which we prefer), Cheezees isn't a typical sandwich shop. They smoke all their own meats in house and the taste is evident. I tried "The Woo Hoo Cubano" and it was GOOD. Generous portions of roasted pork and ham, just the right amount of swiss cheese and deli mustard. When someone makes a good Cuban, I immediately have high confidence for the rest of the menu. My husband tried "The Sir Bren Beef Stroganoff Sandwich" and really liked it (but I think he may have been jealous about my Cuban) :) We also tried "Ken's Creamy Tomato Soup" - YUM! not a "typical" tomato soup... it had finely chopped red pepper and other veggies AND "Dr Ihrig's Mac & Cheese" - double YUM! I'm glad the hubs was willing to share both! Both sandwiches came with a little piece of cornbread (which was devoured before I took pics). Oh, about the pics...everything was half eaten before it occurred to me to take pictures. That says something about how good the food is, I assure you. No pics of the Stroganoff sandwich, though... it was already gone. Overall, we really like Cheezees and will definitely be back. Guys, put more signs on the road... you deserve more business!

Very interesting sandwiches. Good food. No tables so this is a pick it up and go place. Great sandwiches.

The BEST tuna melt I've ever eaten. And I'm old so I've had a lot. Also, check out their homemade corn muffins and banana pudding. Really good! The owners are very friendly and generous. Go check them out.

On vacation in the area and we found this place. They make one of the best reubens I have ever had! My friend had the fussy Marge chicken sandwich was really good. The service was excellent and owners were nice and personable! Highly recommended!
